I am interested in something thru the State of California itself, not a 3rd party company that charges.
Wisconsin’s public record site is 100% free. Does CA have the same?

Lisa N asked: Ok, I know someone that said they’d be out of town for a month, while they were gone, I looked them up online and it showed they were in jail for 1 month! When they came back and I searched again, it was gone. The will county, IL. circuit court system charged a fee to access online, as well as many other backround sites? Does anyone have access? Email me and I’ll give you the name of this person if you can check.
This is just for knowledge, and should be available because it is a matter of public record.
