Try to get a court injunction to stop the sale.

Your mind is you memories…Did not required and physical property. Everyone can’t bring anything when we passed away.
if your stepdad is not takecare you and your sister. You have to appoint a lawyer to divide the property equally into you both, You make arragement that he may use until his life time. you have to takecare if he disable personal.

You say your mother passed away two years ago. Wills are probated in the county where your mother was living at the time of her death. Wills are submitted almost immediately after death.
In order for the will to be legal, it must be submitted along with a certified copy of her death certificate to the county court clerk, who files it and submits it to the court. Other paperwork must be filled out. Selling of property is not unusual, to settle the estate all property that cannot be given away to heirs, or agreed upon, must be sold, including land, houses, cars. If there are liens or debts still owed on these items, those loans must be paid off first with the proceeds from the sale. Any monies left over are to be divided according to your mother’s will among her listed heirs.
You should have known all this, clearly something isn’t right. Contact a lawyer and ask for advice on this matter. You can rarely get answers from county court clerks, they are not allowed to legally advise you. They will refer you to a lawyer. Your step father’s reluctance to tell you anything about her will is an indicator that he is up to no good. Get legal assistance, you are entitled to a share of your mother’s property, which includes any money, personal items, etc.
