Most divorce proceedings are private. It really isn’t your business. Why would you want to know?

    Try Oklahoma Vital Records
    1000 N.E. Tenth, Room 111, Oklahoma City, OK 73117
    Phone: 405/271-4040

I am not sure you can get divorce records from them, but its worth a try.

You would look under county records of the place where the divorce would have been filed. Only, you can’t look for records without specific information regarding the divorce, so if it’s not yours or you don’t know the specific information requested, you can’t research the records.

Only place I can think of are the back issues of the newspaper where this person lives. The matter of public record concerning divorces (names & dates of divorce) will be listed in there.

Please take my answer seriously (even though I admit that I opnely fart a lot!) Here is the best place to find it:
    Go to
Then click on the State lookup button at the top. Once you go the next page, scroll down to Oklahoma. There you will find a plethora of listings that can better help you find what you are looking for. Also, you can google the County Clerks Office in Oklahoma and go directly to their website. *Note* Many states release public records online, but some are unavailable to view, and must be viewed directly at the County Clerks Office.
Hope this helps! I gotta run and fart!

what about the courthouse, im pretty sure da records filed r there, or straight to da source.

It would be in the public records if they filed. The only other thing i can think of is checking with the county courthouse where every they said they filed in. They have all the stuff there for you to look up on there computers. I know in washington you can look all that stuff up from the state court records search. If you cant find it in your states public records search is it possible they havrn’t filed yet?

You can try and do a search as long as you have the info. It will cost you, but, if you think it’s worth it to find out, spend the money. About $50.00

I am ONLY GUESSING, or assume a scenario like being interested in someone that says they are Diviorced but, you aren’t sure and don’t feel 100% comfortable. I would do the background check then, and if it comes back clean……..no Divorce then.

HOWEVER; make sure if this is the scenario that Mr. Mister is giving you his real name. Men and Women can be snakes if they are playing people under the guise of cheating.

Again, I am only guessing this as a scenario and not specifically saying or suggesting this is why you made such a query. But, just a good thing to think about anyway.

    Good Luck!
