public records search

In PA, the records are sealed. How do I go about searching for my biological parents? How useful are public record searches? Search services? Private investigators? Would I be able to obtain a court order, where the records can be opened. If so, how do I go about doing that? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

    if you know the place where you were adopted from you could start there. Even Though th records are sealed to you they are available to the people who did you adoption. You could go to them explain that you are looking for your biological parents and give them your information. They will not inform you of any information about your biological parents but they could pass your information on to your biological parents and if they want to contact you them they will. If not the other option is a private investigator which is almost always the best alternative with the most rewarding results. so you have you original parents names? anything you can tell them is helpful in locating them also put bulletins out on the Internet everywhere they may be looking for you and you may not know it. I actually know someone that put their child up for adoption in pa and is waiting for the day their child finds them. good luck.
