I’ve had good success using “USSearch.com” should work for you if the ‘price’ of the report you’ll need is in your budget!

peoplesearch.com gives a lot of info - right down to if they owe money, etc. Other websites will depend upon where you live. For example, in our state (Okla) we use It is a criminal records site, and all criminal records are open to the public. all sex offenders are on sex offenders websites (not that these people are sex offenders, but you can get links this way) - try googling sex offenders + your county (or city or state). This should take you to the site, and give you some links to other records sites that might be helpful. You can also contact a private investigator and get them to run a full background check for you for a nominal fee.
A word of advice - get everything in writing, notorized, and dot your i’s and cross your t’s on your land deal. We used to have rental property, and got screwed up big time when we were too trusting. Be careful, and good luck!

well, you can check all kinds of background, criminal, court records at , its the best site i found for records and has the largest database.
