are there any sites or search techniques to look up Public records without having to pay for it? after all it is Public records…..

They are public records so the public has access to them. They would only be free if everyone wanted to access them. This way only the user pays instead of the rest of us. Otherwise our taxes would be even more ridiculous. You can check your cities website but if they don’t have them digitized I doubt you would find them anywhere else online.

in Oklahoma we can look at OSCN and get particular counties to look at then you can look at ______ department of corrections. Put your state in the ____ and you will get all of the people in the prisons or who has ever been in one in that state. Hope this helps

Costs are usually from administrative expenses and minimal. Certain info. is free except spending your time at the Clerk of Courts or other administrative offices. If your trying to get online info., they really haven’t used taxpayer dollars to make most of that info. free. Low priority.
